Cooperation, partnerships and networks are at the core of Itla’s operating model. We actively build bridges and act as an intermediary organisation. We combine, distribute and refine information, expertise and innovations arising from research and practical development work and promote the use of high-quality information in decision-making. Figure 2 summarises the principles that we uphold in all our cooperation.

We enable and support networked cooperation, creating a shared foundation of knowledge and joint development. As an independent foundation, we promote cooperation that other actors may not have the opportunity to engage in.

International networks and partnerships play a key role in identifying and promoting the implementation of different thinking and operating policies, good practices and effective methods. Our goal is to carry out pioneering domestic and international work that strengthens and advances the social impact we are working towards.
